Brief History of University of Traditional Medicine

        The University of Traditional Medicine was opened on December 19th, 2001. It present building complex was completed in 2004.

It is run by Department of Traditional Medicine under Ministry of Health.

UTM is located near the Northwest foot of Mandalay Hill, at O Bo Shwe Kyin Quarter, Aung Myae Thar San Township in Mandalay.

The campus is (11.42) acres wide.

It has one main building and three other extensions.

UTM is blessed with naturally clean, green surroundings and culturally rich environment.
