Departmental Objectives
At the end of the course, the learners should be able to:

Knowledge
1. Understand the fundamental principle of Chemistry.
2. Acquire some basic knowledge of Phytochemistry.
3. Apply the principles and practice of Chemistry to basic medical science subjects such as Physiology and Biochemistry.

Skill
1. Do qualitative and quantitative analysis of Inorganic and Organic compounds with scientific accuracy.
2. Do qualitative preliminary phytochemical tests for some types of compounds.

Attitude
1.Develop positive attitude toward Chemistry pertaining to the study of evidence-based traditional medicine.
